Organic sweet almond milk powder can be incorporated as an active ingredient in all your water-based formulas: gels, lotions, creams, milks, shower gels, shampoos, etc.

Aroma-zone Tip

Sweet almond milk powder can destabilize certain emulsions, particularly those containing BTMS or emulsions that are not very stable, for example those with a low emulsifier dosage. To avoid this, organic sweet almond milk powder must be dispersed in the aqueous phase before emulsification, as explained below.

Add organic sweet almond milk powder to a gel or gel cream

For easier dispersion of organic sweet almond milk powder in gels, we recommend adding it to the aqueous phase before the gel forms.

Similarly, in gel creams or creams containing gum, it is best to incorporate the organic sweet almond milk powder into the aqueous phase before adding the gelling agent.

Then proceed as usual for the rest of the recipe.

Sweet almond milk powder can be heated if necessary in the recipe (to form an emulsion or gel when heated). Avoid very high temperatures (>80°C) and prolonged heating, which could denature the active ingredient.

• Natural almond fatty acids (11 g/100 g) including:

  • Polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (PUFA or EFA) or vitamin F: linoleic acid (omega 6): nourishes and softens the skin and hair.

  • Monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFA): oleic acid (omega 9): nourishes and softens the skin and hair.

Storage

This product is sensitive to moisture, light, and heat. Store this product in its bag in a cool, dry place (but not in the refrigerator). Carefully reseal the bag after each use, removing all air before closing the zip.
