Storage

Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation and to the gradual evaporation of their volatile constituents. It is therefore essential to store your essential oils in a dark glass or aluminium bottle with a tightly fitting cap, at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).

Precautions

• Do not use on pregnant or breastfeeding women, or on children under 6 years of age.

• Not recommended for people with asthma and/or epilepsy due to its high 1,8-cineole content (especially when inhaled or diffused).

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Preferably use on the skin or in diffusion/inhalation.

• Oral use is not recommended for this essential oil.

• Possible interactions with medications (due to its 1,8-cineole content, which has an inducing effect on certain enzymes), do not use orally without medical advice while undergoing medical treatment.

• Very powerful, it may irritate some people when diffused. In this case, mix it with milder essential oils (true lavender, balsam fir, etc.) or use Eucalyptus smithii or radiata instead.

• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.

• Certain natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present a risk of allergy in some sensitive individuals when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition.

• Avoid old or oxidized essential oils. Store away from light and air.

• As a general rule, always test your preparation on the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• For use as a cosmetic ingredient, please refer to the specific precautions.

Maximum dosage to be observed

Can be incorporated up to 1% in your cosmetic preparations such as massage oils.

Camphor, Cinnamyl Alcohol, [Eucalyptus Globulus Oil], Eugenol, Geraniol, L-Alpha Pinene, L-Beta Pinene, Limonene, Linalool, Terpineol.

Danger. Flammable liquid and vapor. Causes skin irritation. May cause skin allergy. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CONTROL CENTER or doctor/physician. Do NOT induce vomiting.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Dispose of contents/container to a waste collection point in accordance with local regulations.
