Storage

Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation and to the gradual evaporation of their constituents. It is therefore essential to store your essential oils in a sealed coloured glass or aluminium bottle at a temperature of between 5°C and 40°C.

Precautions

• Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, or in children under 6 years old. Do not use in individuals with skin diseases or skin damage.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Internal use only in limited doses and for short durations, on the advice of a therapist.

• Always dilute for cutaneous application.

• Some natural compounds in this essential oil may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals when incorporated into a cosmetic formulation.

• Avoid using old or oxidized essential oils. Store away from light and air.

• As a general rule, always perform a patch test by applying your preparation to the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• For use as a cosmetic ingredient, refer to specific precautions.

Maximum dosage to be observed

Can be incorporated up to 0.2% in leave-on cosmetic preparations for body and face, and up to 1.4% in rinse-off cosmetic preparations.

Danger. Causes skin irritation. May cause skin allergy. Fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.

IF ON SKIN: Wash thoroughly with water and soap. If skin irritation or rash occurs, consult a doctor. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or a doctor. DO NOT induce vomiting. Dispose of contents/container at a waste collection center in accordance with local regulations.
