Storage

Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation and to the gradual evaporation of their volatile constituents. It is therefore essential to store your essential oils in a dark glass or aluminium bottle with a tightly fitting cap, at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).

Precautions

• Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 6 years old, or people with epilepsy.

• Contains hormone-like molecules; avoid without medical advice in case of hormone-dependent pathology.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

• No oral use.

• Always dilute for cutaneous application.

• Some natural compounds in this essential oil may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals when incorporated into a cosmetic formulation.

• Avoid using old or oxidized essential oils. Store away from light and air.

• As a general rule, always perform a patch test by applying your preparation to the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• For use as a cosmetic ingredient, refer to specific precautions.

Maximum dosage to be observed

Can be incorporated into your cosmetic preparations at a concentration of up to 1%.

Danger. Flammable liquid and vapor. Harmful if swallowed. Fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Causes skin irritation. May cause skin allergy. Causes severe eye irritation. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves/eye protection.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a doctor or a POISON CENTER. DO NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN: Wash thoroughly with water and soap. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: consult a doctor. If skin irritation or rash occurs: consult a doctor. Dispose of contents/container at a waste collection center in accordance with local regulations.
