Jasmine sambac is very popular in Indonesia. The Philippine archipelago has even made it its emblem, as the national flag features the "Sampagita" flower, the local name for jasmine sambac.
There, women hide flowers of this variety of jasmine in their hair to perfume it. A traditional use is to apply jasmine sambac flowers as a poultice to the breast to stop lactation. This use, also recorded in India, was confirmed in 1988 by a study that showed that jasmine sambac flowers had a similar effect to lactation-inhibiting drugs.
In Manila, the flowers of this variety of jasmine are used to make scented necklaces sold on the street. In Malaysia, women soak the flowers in water before using them to wash their faces.
They also macerate jajmine sambac flowers in coconut oil and coat their bodies and hair with this highly fragrant macerate.
As you can see, the jasmin sambac flower is an exceptional flower that provides a precious and inimitable fragrance , widely used by the greatest names in perfumery. Its scent is finer, sweeter, and lighter than Jasminum grandiflorum.

Precautions
Certain natural compounds contained in this absolute may present a risk of allergy for certain sensitive individuals when the absolute is incorporated into a cosmetic composition (according to the 7th Amendment of the European Directive on cosmetic products (2003/15/EC)): linalool, benzyl alcohol and, to a lesser extent, benzyl benzoate and benzyl salicylate.
As a general rule, always test your preparation on the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways (if the product is accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting). Method: Mix the essential oils with the cream or milk and pour into hot bath water.
This Victorian-era recipe does not allow us to certify that this is indeed the perfume used by the queen. But undoubtedly, in the fervor surrounding the personality of this great lady, perfumers tried to create fragrances to seduce her and win the approval of the court. The era favored freshness and virginity in art, a rule that perfumers had to obey. This is therefore a "bouquet" composition because it brings together multiple flowers—jasmine, rose, orange blossom, iris, lavender—barely supported by a touch of ambergris. It is not an inexpensive perfume, but we are in the palace, beneath the gilding and among the many masterpieces of Italian art that the kings of England have always collected.

5 ml of 50% iris butter (or 0.5 grams of CO2 iris extract)
3 ml amber tincture or synthetic base
Method: Mix and leave to rest for one month. Glaze by leaving your bottle in the freezer overnight, then filter through a fine paper filter. Your perfume is ready, but it is best to leave it to mature for a few months before using it.

Note: You can replace synthetic musk, a raw material considered dangerous and polluting, with CO2 extract of ambrette, a 100% natural material with a scent similar to natural musk.
50 ml of wheat germ oil
6 drops of Ylang-Ylang essential oil
6 drops of geranium essential oil
3 drops of jasmine absolute
Method: Mix the ingredients well.
Use: After shampooing, rub your hair with a towel and immediately apply the poultice. Cover your head with a towel and leave on for 2 hours. Rinse.
9 g organic shea butter
6 g Camellia oil
3 g Mimosa wax
1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin
10 drops of jasmine absolute
10 drops of Bourbon geranium essential oil
10 drops of rhododendron essential oil
Method: Melt the shea butter and mimosa wax with the camellia vegetable oil in a double boiler over low heat. Remove the pan from the heat when the wax has melted and wait for the mixture to cool. Add the vegetable glycerin, absolute, and two essential oils, then mix everything together with a mini whisk. Immediately pour the mixture into a 15 ml jar before it hardens.
Ylang Ylang essential oil: 1 teaspoon
Patchouli essential oil: 15 drops
Sandalwood essential oil: 15 drops
Jasmine Absolute: 5 drops
Rose essential oil: 5 drops
Vodka or brandy: 2 tablespoons
Distilled water: 2 teaspoons
Glycerin: 1/4 teaspoon
Method: Mix the ingredients in a 60 ml bottle. Shake and leave to rest for 2 to 6 months to allow it to mature properly. Please note that the initial smell is nothing like the final fragrance.
