Biomimetic Hyaluronic Acid: A low molecular weight, oil-based Hyaluronic Acid that allows better penetration into the skin. Hyaluronic Acid helps plump the lips, making them smoother while protecting them from dehydration. It provides the balm with its hydrating properties.

Biomimetic NP Ceramides: Also known as Ceramide III, these lipids occur naturally in the skin. As key components of the skin barrier, they account for 40% of the lipids in the stratum corneum and are often described as the skin’s “cement.” A healthy skin barrier helps retain moisture and protect against external aggressors. Ceramide levels naturally decrease with age, skin concerns, and environmental factors such as cold, wind, and sun exposure. NP Ceramide helps rebalance damaged skin, strengthens the skin barrier to make it less reactive, and protects it from external aggressors. It promotes skin comfort and helps combat dryness. Ceramides give the product its repairing and protective properties.

Olive-Derived Squalane: Thanks to its composition, which is similar to the skin’s natural sebum, it has excellent affinity with the skin. It helps improve the penetration of active ingredients, supports the restoration of the lipid barrier, and protects the skin from dehydration. It contributes to the formula’s protective and soothing properties.

Upcycled Phytosterol: With a biomimetic composition similar to cholesterol, a naturally occurring component of the skin’s lipid barrier, this ingredient plays an essential role in skin protection. It strengthens the skin barrier and helps prevent moisture loss, protecting the skin from dehydration. It repairs damaged and chapped lips while shielding them from external aggressors. Sourced from recycled soybean oil by-products, this active ingredient was selected by our laboratory for both its efficacy and its contribution to a circular economy approach.
