Material

Blue glass bottle, glass dropper pipette:

Glass is a high-quality, 100% recyclable material with the specific characteristics of being transparent, rot-proof and waterproof. It is also non-combustible and non-flammable.
Blue glass is essentially composed of sand, limestone, soda ash and, in smaller quantities, alumina-based materials, cullet (broken glass) and a secondary component: cobalt, which determines the colour of the glass (blue in this case).
The soda-lime glass used in the dropper pipette is the most common type of glass, made from silica, calcium and sodium. Also used to make bottles and flasks, it accounts for 90% of the world's glass production.

In practice

Instructions for use

For a cosmetic preparation, pour the preparation into the bottle, using a funnel or transfer pipette if you wish.
For an aromatherapy preparation, you can measure out the essential oils by counting the drops directly in the bottle.

Stage 1

Immerse the glass pipette in the sample vial.

Step 2

Press on the black teat.

Step 3

Release the pressure to suck up the liquid.

Step 4

Then measure out the liquid by applying gentle pressure to the teat. Return the excess to the original bottle.

Cleaning

The bottle and pipette dropper can be easily cleaned with hot soapy water using our brushes.
Prepare a tub of hot soapy water.
Immerse the entire bottle and glass pipette in it and press down on the black teat, then release the pressure to draw out the hot soapy water to clean the inside of the pipette.
Press the teat again to release the hot soapy water.
Repeat the pumping process several times until the pipette is clean.
Rinse with clean water.

Disinfection

"Thermal" disinfection of the blue glass bottle only: Immerse the glass bottle in boiling water for five minutes.
Carefully dry with a clean, dry cloth.

"Chemical" disinfection of the blue glass bottle and the dropper pipette: Rinse the bottle with alcohol. For the pipette, repeat the cleaning process by pumping as described above in an alcohol bath to disinfect both the inside and outside of the glass pipette.
Leave to air dry.
