Start by exfoliating your lips to remove any dead skin and ensure the surface is as smooth as possible.
Wipe the applicator tip to remove any excess product: it’s best to apply the lip oil in a thin layer.
Place the applicator tip in the centre of your lips.
Glide the product towards the right-hand corner of your mouth, following the natural contour of your lips.
Repeat the process towards your left corner of the mouth, starting from the centre of your lips, taking care not to go over the edges.

How often should you apply lip oil during the day?
You can apply lip oil at any time of day, for example if the shine starts to fade. As with most lip care and make-up products, it’s best to reapply it after a meal to maintain a fresh, radiant finish.
Even between meals, you can reapply it as often as you feel the need. With its refreshing formula infused with shine and protective active ingredients, it is at once a pleasurable experience, a beauty-enhancing treatment and a skincare ritual.
Good to know: it’s better to reapply lip oil more often in a thin layer than to apply it just once or twice a day in a thick layer.
When should you use this product?
If you fancy an instant burst of freshness. The translucent ‘ice cube effect’ version, infused with menthol crystals, is ideal for restoring a revitalising sensation
If you want to enhance your lips and make them shine. Our tinted lip oils (pomegranate red and passion orange) also add a touch of luminous colour
If you want to plump up your lips. Its mirror-like shine, ‘plumping’ complex, hyaluronic acid and menthol give an instant plump appearance
If you want to prevent dehydration. Its base, rich in plant oils, helps to strengthen the lips’ skin barrier and reduce water loss through evaporation
If you need comfort. Enriched with nourishing, soothing and restorative ingredients, its formula is ideal for comforting dry and delicate lips on a daily basis.
The right steps to protect your lips every day
DO
Apply an emollient (lip oil, lip balm) regularly to minimise water loss through the skin
Increase your level of protection if you are exposed to the cold, wind, dry air or air-conditioned environments
Occasionally, use a very gentle exfoliator to restore a velvety-soft and smoother feel to your lips
Keep your routine as simple as possible, focusing on emollient formulas, to maintain softness and comfort.
DON’T
Avoid licking your lips: saliva can make your lips drier and worsen any discomfort (1)
Don’t forget to protect your lips from the sun’s rays, particularly in summer or at high altitudes: they are very vulnerable there (2)
Don’t exfoliate your lips too often, or avoid doing so altogether if your lips are damaged or irritated (1)
Don’t use too many products (skincare, make-up): some may contain sensitising agents that disrupt the skin’s barrier function (3).
Precautions
Carry out a sensitivity test before using a new product for the first time. We recommend applying our lip oil only to healthy skin. If you have chapped lips or bleeding cracks, it is best to consult a healthcare professional.
Expert advice
To maximise moisture retention in this area, which is so prone to drying out, you can apply a water-based formula rich in humectants directly underneath your oil. This could, for example, be a aloe vera-based lip serum. When applied on top, the lipids in the lip oil will form a barrier that limits water evaporation.
