Material
Silicone and PPMA:
Silicone is a material that distributes heat evenly, requires no greasing and is non-stick, making it easy to remove from the mould. It is particularly insulating and resistant to extreme temperatures (from -40°C to +200°C). Silicone is unbreakable, non-deformable, and wear-resistant. In addition, it prevents the formation or deposit of residues, which facilitates cleaning.
PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) is a transparent thermoplastic better known by its trade name "Plexiglas." This material is characterised by its beautiful transparency and rigidity. It is a recyclable material.

There are various marbling techniques you can use to create beautiful patterns in your cold process soaps. Here are some of the most popular ones, but feel free to innovate with your own ideas!
When marbling, you need to work fairly quickly as the soap paste thickens quickly. We recommend choosing a formula with a fairly high water content (at the top of the range) to slow down the setting process a little. Start adding your colourants as soon as you see a fine trace.
Feather marbling
Very attractive, it is made in a separator mould. You can use 2 to 6 different colours depending on the desired effect and the number of separators used (1 to 5).
Divide your soap mixture into several parts and colour each part with the dyes of your choice.
Pour your coloured soap paste between the dividers of your mould, alternating colours. Tap your mould while filling it to compact the soap paste and prevent air bubbles from forming.
Carefully remove all the dividers from the mould one by one, pushing the soap mixture along each divider with a spatula so as not to "take" too much soap mixture with you. Tap your mould on the work surface to remove any air pockets.
Create the marbling effect using a stick and the following technique:
Feather marbling variation:
After swirling the sticks in a zigzag or figure-eight pattern, you can also run the stick around the edge of the soap, tracing concentric circles along the mould. You can trace about 5 to 10 circles, depending on the desired effect. This will "train" the previously formed patterns to give them a circular motion.
Marbling with a hanger
It is best made in a long mold, such as the Aroma-Zone separator mold. If you also use the separators, you can create a "secret feather" marbling effect.
Before you start your preparation, bend a wire hanger to create a marbling tool that is the right length for the mould.
Once you have made a thin line, divide your soap mixture into several parts and colour each part with the dyes of your choice.
Pour your coloured soap bases into the mould, creating layers of different colours. You can make a single coloured layer or alternate several colours.
Pass the hanger through the soap mixture as shown in the diagram to create the marbling effect.
After removing from the mould, cut your soap into slices like a cake.
Tip: the "secret feather" marbling technique
Using the same principle, you can use the dividers to create a marbled effect with the hanger on only part of the soap, pouring your coloured layers between just two dividers.
Remove the dividers, then pass your hanger through the middle of the coloured strip, bringing it out on one side of the soap.
Instructions for use
Before using for the first time, remember to remove the protective film on each side of the dividers.
1. Method for melt & pour soaps, remelted soaps, solid shampoos, candles, and pebbles:
Pour the mixture of your choice into the mould.
Leave the mixture to harden on a flat surface for at least 2 hours at room temperature or 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
Remove from the mould by gently turning the mould over onto a flat, clean, dry surface and applying light pressure to the back of the cavity to extract the soap, solid shampoo, candle, or pebble.
2. Method for cold process soaps:
Pour the soap paste of your choice into the mould.
Cover the mould with plastic wrap, then add a bath towel or blanket on top to keep them warm.
Leave the covered soaps to harden for 24 to 48 hours at room temperature.
Wearing protective gloves, remove them from the mould by gently turning the mould over onto a flat, clean, dry surface and applying light pressure to the back of the cavity to extract the soap.
Leave the soaps to dry in a dry, well-ventilated place away from light for at least 4 weeks before use.

Cleaning
Before using for the first time, we recommend washing the silicone mould with a sponge and mild detergent.
For cosmetic use
Immerse the mould in hot water and scrub the inside of the cavities with a sponge. When making soap, there is no need to add any detergent as the cavities will already be impregnated.
Rinse the mould under warm running water. The mould and its dividers can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
For culinary use:
Allow the mould to cool after removing it from the oven.
The mould and its separators can be cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand by immersing them in hot water and scrubbing the inside of the cavities with a sponge and mild detergent.
Rinse the mould with warm water.
Disinfection
Spray the mould with 60° or 70° alcohol.
Rub it with a soft, clean, dry cloth to remove any residue.
Leave to dry in the open air.

Very good quality price and great product
Perfect color. For my soaps
Very good product. Good quality. I am very satisfied. I just regret not having had it available in the store in the 5th arrondissement (Paris). I prefer to buy in store.
