A few ideas

• Apply this mica as is for a ocean green eyeshadow.

• Can also be used mixed with a base such as coated cosmetic talc or sericite, to formulate loose or pressed powder eyeshadows, possibly in combination with other colored micas or mineral oxides to create your own shades.

• Create your own eyeshadow duos, for example Ocean Green Mica/ Nude Beige Mica

• Try it in your Melt & Pour soaps or in your cold process soaps for a sublime oceanic evocation.

Ocean Green Mica can be used to create a wide range of shades:

• A gradient of water greens, alone or mixed with shiny mica

• Green-gray tones when mixed with Iridescent Charcoal Mica, Bronze Mica, or Copper Mica

• Anise green tones when mixed with Gold Mica

• Blue-green and turquoise tones mixed with Deep Blue Mica

For a more intense effect: apply black pencil to the upper eyelid, blend with a brush, then apply the mica as desired.

Ocean Green Mica can be used as is as a "quick" eyeshadow. This cosmetic mica can be used dispersed in a powder mixture or suspended in emulsions (including mascaras), gels (including eyeliners), glosses, balms, and sticks. It can be used in more fluid products (shower gels, oils) but will tend to settle at the bottom and will need to be shaken to achieve the glitter effect.

• Powder mixtures: incorporate the mica as is at the end of preparation. For compacted powders, it can be ground in a coffee grinder or mortar at the end of preparation for a short time so as not to break the mother-of-pearl.

• Solid oil-based mixtures (eyeliner pencils, balm eyeshadows): 

  Add the mica to the melted mixture at the end of preparation and mix well to disperse evenly.

• Emulsions (mascaras), gels (eyeliners): Add the mica as is at the end of preparation.

Natural micas are obtained by extraction from raw minerals, purification, heat treatment, grinding, and then sieving.

Storage

• Keep out of reach of children. Do not swallow or inhale, and avoid direct contact of the powder with the eyes.
