For making candles
Melt the vegetable candle wax in a bowl in a double boiler. Add the other ingredients from the oil phase, if any (vegetable oils).
Remove from heat, add fragrance, essential oil, and/or colouring, then mix until smooth.
Pour the liquid mixture into the container of your choice (candle glass, aluminum box, silicone mold).
Place a wooden or cotton wick in the container without delay.
Allow the candle to cool at room temperature for 6 hours before use.
Tips
The container used to make your candle must be heat resistant.
If necessary, hold the cotton wick in place with a clothes peg while the candle sets.
If you prefer, you can arrange and secure the wick in the candle glass before pouring.
The ideal heating and pouring temperature for vegetable candle wax is 60-65°C (to avoid shrinkage, holes, and cracks in the candle).
Use essential oils and fragrances with a flash point above 65°C.
Quality
100% plant-based, made from olives, palm oil-free
Method of production
The process of producing raw olive oil results in an oily, viscous paste as a by-product. From this paste, various components are obtained, which are then heated, filtered, and transformed into flakes to form the basis of this pure olive candle.
INCI designation
Stearic acid, Hydrogenated olive oil, Hydrogenated olive oil unsaponifiables.
Presentation
A white, waxy solid with a neutral odour, presented in flakes packaged in kraft doypack bags.
Cold Extraction of Olive Oil
During the production of olive oil, the olives are first sorted and washed. They are then crushed and kneaded to form an olive paste. This step is carried out at a temperature between 24 and 27 °C, which is why the process is referred to as “cold extraction.”
Storage
Store away from air, moisture, light, and heat. Close the container tightly after each use.
Precautions
Keep out of reach of children, do not swallow, avoid contact with eyes.
Be careful not to burn yourself when handling melted wax.

For once, I'm giving a negative review of my order of candle-making supplies, which I received as a Christmas gift. The wax breaks during unmolding, especially for the teddy bear mold which is very difficult to unmold. It is impossible to insert the wicks into the candles, as explained in the instructions, by drilling a hole after they have hardened. Breakage is guaranteed! After that disastrous first attempt, my daughter and grandson didn't try again. The kit stayed in the cupboard!
Easy to use
There is a lack of precision regarding the dosages to use for a container of this size. Very easy to use as there's no mixing required except for the fragrance or colorant.
An important ingredient for making candles, it melts quickly and is very easy to use, even for a workshop with young children.
