Storage

Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation and to the gradual evaporation of their volatile constituents. It is therefore essential to store your essential oils in a dark glass or aluminium bottle with a tightly fitting cap, at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).

Precautions

• Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 6 years old.

• Do not use orally without the advice of a healthcare professional.

• Always use diluted.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• This oil may be photosensitizing: do not expose yourself to the sun for at least 10 hours after topical application.

• Some natural compounds in this essential oil may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals when incorporated into a cosmetic formulation.

• Avoid using old or oxidized essential oils. Store away from light and air.

• As a general rule, always perform a patch test by applying your preparation to the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• For use as a cosmetic ingredient, refer to specific precautions.

Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, or hot surfaces. Do not smoke. Wear protective gloves and eye protection. If swallowed, immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Do NOT induce vomiting. If on skin, wash thoroughly with water and soap; if skin irritation or rash occurs, consult a doctor. Dispose of contents/container in a waste collection center in accordance with local regulations.
