Uses beauty

• As an ingredient in your blends for spraying onto the skin of the face and neck after cleansing. Then apply your skincare cream or oil immediately to damp skin.

• As an ingredient in compresses. Apply 2 to 3 times a day to the eyes.

• Incorporated in the aqueous phase of your homemade cosmetic formulas, it is ideal for making:

  • An anti-ageing face cream

  • A soothing after-sun body lotion

  • A cleansing cream or lotion for sensitive eyes

  • A soothing spray for itchy skin

Synergies

• To soothe delicate eyes: blue gum eucalyptus hydrosol, etc.

• For sensitive skin: calendula and aloe vera macerated oils, wild lavender hydrosol, calendula CO₂ extract, allantoin, bisabolol, etc.

Uses well-being

For hyperactive people, mix 60 ml of hydrosol in 1 litre of water and drink throughout the day. As an ingredient in your blends for:

• Relaxing aromatherapy baths.

• Room mists for the home, sprayed on with a vaporiser or in your mister instead of water.

Concentration

To make 1 litre of hydrosol, you need 1 kilo of leaves and flowering tops, known as the 1:1 ratio. This minimum extraction ratio, which is something we strictly follow at Aroma-Zone, guarantees an intense fragrance, better conservation and, above all, a high concentration of aromatic molecules in the hydrosol, a proof of its quality.

Hydrosols are sensitive to pollution. As our Aroma-Zone hydrosols are fresh, pure products with no preservatives, we strongly recommend that you store them in the refrigerator and use them within 6 months of opening. When using them, make sure your hands are always clean and that you disinfect all utensils and bottles that come into contact with the hydrosols when preparing your homemade cosmetics. If you notice a change in appearance or smell, stop using the hydrosol.
