What is it for??? Very disappointed. Firstly, the shape is not suitable since it is flat on the top and bottom. Once the powder is in the cup and the top cutter is in, well... obviously nothing more since the tips are smooth and too big, impossible to push the cutter to compact the powder beyond the edges of the cup (imagine filling a glass of water to the brim and trying to push the water with a rigid A4 sheet, good luck...) You have to be handy to find a system (I glued the cutter to a smaller bolt that I hold to the top clamp using double-sided tape. So I can push the cutter into the cup). Unfortunately, even with that, the powder does not stay compact for long. At the first brush strokes, it becomes powder again, really frustrating... I tried mica oxide or ochre then adding makeup base powder, nothing works, it does not hold... so forget the just powder version. To see to make eyeshadows in balm versions and therefore not necessarily need these tweezers... really really really super disappointed. If at least there were interlocking tips in the shape of the cups... TO BAN!

Very good product I am happy with this press. It is efficient, practical, and fast. I made my eye shadows with it and it was very good.

Compacting Press Once in good contact on both sides with the object to be compacted, it is not used so much, or you have to stay with your hand tight so that it works continuously, not practical at all... In addition, the tip is not suitable for small buckets (or for larger ones for that matter), it would be worth being able to change the tip depending on the bucket. In addition, it seems fragile, I am afraid of forcing too much... and the finishes are not great, especially on the "handle" side, if I may say so, simply a hole (why?) and a piece that sticks out, I suppose to hold if we go that far (although there is little chance that we will move it away that much...). In conclusion, expensive for what it is! In my opinion, it is not worth more than 3-4€ and even then.

need herculean strength? I called on my husband to help me. We read and understood the packaging instructions. He pressed hard... and the result is disappointing. At first, it seemed to work, but very soon after the first uses, the powder was no longer compacted at all and was wandering from one pan to another. I had also tried to make a pan by myself, and there, it was even worse. I don't have much strength in my hands and it didn't work at all... In short, I regret this purchase. Since then I have been using the mini-powder compacts for my eye shadows and I find that it works much better.
