Lip Balm Tube

This translucent tube allows for precise, localised application of balm in solid stick form to the lips and skin. Its natural colour makes it easy to see how much product remains. The clip-on cap provides an additional hygienic feature, allowing you to close the tube securely.

Thanks to its relatively wide opening, the lip balm tube is easy to fill, as well as easy to clean, disinfect and reuse.

Instructions for use

• Check that the piston is at the bottom of the tube ; if not, turn the wheel counterclockwise to lower it.

• Pour your balm directly into the tube, filling it to the brim.

• Clip the cap onto the tube.

• Leave your mixture to set for 24 hours at room temperature or 5 hours in the refrigerator.

Cleaning

• Push the piston to the top of the tube by turning the wheel clockwise. Grasp the piston with your fingers to remove it from the tube so that you can clean the tube and piston separately.

• Using our stainless steel spatula, we recommend scraping off any excess material inside the tube before cleaning it.

• Scrub the inside walls of the tube with a mini bottle brush and hot soapy water and do the same for the piston and cap.

Disinfection

Thermal disinfection:

• Completely immerse the disassembled and cleaned parts of the bottle in boiling water for five minutes.

• Dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth.

• Tip: To dry the inside of the tube, you can use a "rolled wick" made from a corner of your clean, dry cloth.

OR

Chemical disinfection:

• Rinse the disassembled and thoroughly cleaned parts of the bottle completely with 60° or 70° alcohol.

• Leave to dry in the open air.
