Integrate the Intense Hydration Complex into all your formulas containing water
Step 1
Pour your product into a cosmetic preparation bowl or other suitable container.
Step 2
Add the desired quantity of Keratin'protect (see table of typical dosages above and within the limit of the maximum percentage to be incorporated into the AZ Neutral Base of 5%).
Step 3
Shake well to mix well.
Step 4
Pour the product into its container, using a pipette if necessary.

Colourless oily liquid, packaged in an amber glass bottle with dropper cap.
Detailed composition
Aqueous solution of:
Sodium lactate : salt of lactic acid, a hygroscopic compound (attracts water) naturally present in the skin.
Sodium PCA: salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, a humectant naturally present in the skin.
Glycine: small amino acid which plays a very important role in the skin (notably in the composition of collagen).
Fructose: sugar naturally present in fruit, a natural moisturiser.
Urea: a compound naturally present in the skin. This humectant also has keratolytic properties (softens the stratum corneum and "dissolves" clusters of dry dead cells), enabling it to deeply moisturise the skin.
Nicotinamide: vitamin B3: known for its soothing, hydrating and anti-wrinkle properties.
Inositol: compound that plays an important role in the body, particularly in the formation of lipid membranes in cells.
Sodium benzoate: preservative (approved organic cosmetic preservative)
Lactic acid: pH adjuster

Good hydration is the key to keeping skin soft and supple and preventing the formation of fine lines. Physiologically, the natural hydration of the upper layers of the epidermis is mainly provided by "NMF" compounds (Natural Moisturising Factor).
These are hygroscopic compounds (which attract water) naturally present inside the corneocytes (stratum corneum cells). They are mainly amino acids, pyrrolidone carboxylic acid (PCA), lactic acid, urea, sugars and mineral ions.
These compounds are humectants, meaning they attract and retain water in the stratum corneum.
They are water-soluble compounds , and they can tend to be carried away in water when the skin is bathed or washed, which is why repeated contact with water dries out the skin. It is the healthy state of the skin's lipid barrier that enables the NMF to be retained in the corneocytes. To replenish dry skin's moisturisation and help maintain it, it is therefore beneficial on 2 fronts: - Moisturise* the skin, ideally with a complete active ingredient simulating the ‘NMF’, such as Intense Hydration Complex* hydration of the upper layers of the epidermis- Prevent dehydration (and loss of the ‘NMF’) with film-forming active ingredients: either water-based film-formers (plant collagen, inulin, plant-based silicone), or fat-based film-formers (plant and beeswax, carrier oils, plant-based lanolin substitute, plant squalane, phytoceramides).
