Ideal for temporary fatigue, Brazilian Ginseng or Gomphrena promotes physical tone and mental balance.
Both relaxing and invigorating, Brazilian Ginseng is an aid in times of pressure and mental exertion. It's ideal for busy schedules!

Brazilian Ginseng (Pfaffia paniculata) is a perennial plant in the Amaranthaceae family. Also known as Suma, it grows primarily in South America, in the forests of the Amazon basin. The plant’s root is currently the subject of numerous studies.
Traditionally used for its tonic and energizing properties, Suma was also nicknamed para tudo by Native Americans, which translates to “for everything”: indeed, they considered it very useful and have been using it for generations.
Today, this plant is classified as an adaptogen. There are many adaptogenic plants, such as ashwagandha (Withania somnifera L.), or rose sedum (Rhodiola rosea L.), known for thriving in fairly extreme conditions of cold, heat, or drought. This term refers to the ability of certain plants to increase our body’s overall resistance, and thus to combat most forms of physical and mental stress. This concept is relatively new in Europe but has long been known in Asia, specifically in traditional Chinese medicine. At that time, these plants with their myriad benefits were called superior tonics.
Although commonly called Brazilian ginseng, Gomphrena or Pfaffia paniculata is not related to Chinese or Korean ginseng (Panax ginseng) and contains active compounds very different from the latter, although both plants are renowned as adaptogens and tonics.
Gomphrena is sometimes also nicknamed the “Russian secret”: it is said to have been consumed for many years by Russian Olympic athletes to increase their muscle mass and strength, and thus improve their endurance. These beneficial properties are due to the presence of ecdysterone and ecdysteroids in Pfaffia paniculata.
Today, Brazilian ginseng is used as a dietary supplement to naturally support the body, and is particularly valued during periods of temporary fatigue.

Very good for energy levels
I mix it with Maca, but the effects are good and positive.
Great for smoothies
The powder settles at the bottom of the glass, making it unpleasant to swallow and irritating the throat.
Excellent product that I use in my nutritional supplement drinks.
