In terms of health, Ahibero essential oil is renowned for the following properties:

Precautions

  • As a precaution, do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or on children under 3 years of age.

  • Not for internal use; do not swallow.

  • Avoid contact with eyes.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Certain natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present an allergy risk for certain sensitive individuals when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition (in accordance with the 7th Amendment to the EU Cosmetics Directive (2003/15/EC)): limonene.

  • As a general rule, always carry out a test application of your mixture, in the crease of the elbow, at least 48 hours before use.

  • Dangerous. Observe safety precautions.

  • Causes serious eye irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes skin irritation. May be fatal if swallowed or if it enters the respiratory tract (if accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting).

Ahibero, also known as "Madagascan Lemongrass", is a botanical plant native to Madagascar but also found in Africa, belonging to the Poaceae family. Its spearhead-shaped leaves can reach 1 to 3 m in length. They have an aromatic, peppery flavour. In Africa, this plant is traditionally used for its antihypertensive and antifungal properties. The stem and leaves are reputed to treat bronchitis and anxiety. The leaves are also used to soothe gingivitis. The roots are known to relieve toothache, mouth sores and gingivitis.

However, these spoon ratios depend on a number of factors (e.g. viscosity of the liquid, temperature, depth and size of the spoon, rheological behaviour of the liquid), and we strongly advise you to use precise measuring equipment, such as graduated test tubes, graduated pipettes, and precision scales.
