Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation and to the gradual evaporation of their volatile constituents. It is therefore essential to store your essential oils in a dark glass or aluminium bottle with a tightly fitting cap, at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).

Precautions

• Do not use during the first three months of pregnancy or on children under 6 years of age.

• For internal use in limited doses and for short periods only, on the advice of a therapist.

• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children.

• Always dilute for skin application.

• Certain natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present a risk of allergy in some sensitive individuals when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition.

• Avoid old or oxidized essential oils. Store away from light and air.

• As a general rule, always test your preparation on the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• For use as a cosmetic ingredient, please refer to the specific precautions.

Maximum dosage to be observed

Can be incorporated into your cosmetic preparations at a concentration of up to 1%.

Danger. May cause skin allergy. Causes severe eye irritation. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. Keep out of reach of children. Wear protective gloves and eye protection.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CONTROL CENTER or doctor/physician. Do NOT induce vomiting. Dispose of contents/container to a waste collection center in accordance with local regulations.
