Organic Soap Nuts

Soap nuts are shells of the fruit of the Sapindus Mukorossi tree which grows in the regions around the Himalayas. The shells are harvested from the ripe fruit, dried and then peeled to obtain the most usable form for the release of the famous plant saponin. This molecule has a foaming and washing power that is perfectly expressed in open water, like in washing machines at 30° C and warmer, which is why these nuts are known as an eco-friendly laundry detergent. The soap nuts can also be used in decoction as an eco-friendly detergent for all kinds of cosmetic or household applications.
