Certain natural compounds contained in this essential oil may present a risk of allergy for some sensitive individuals when the essential oil is incorporated into a cosmetic composition (according to the 7th Amendment of the European Directive on cosmetic products (2003/15/EC)): linalool, limonene. As a general rule, always test your preparation on the inside of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.
Focus on carnosic acid:
CO2 extract of rosemary is very rich in diterpene phenols (8-10%) and particularly carnosic acid, which is a powerful antioxidant that delays lipid oxidation. It therefore acts locally as a cosmetic ingredient in anti-ageing skincare products, as its compounds are known to inhibit the oxidation of polyunsaturated fatty acids in membranes and the non-enzymatic glycosylation of proteins. It thus helps to limit phenomena linked to oxidative stress in skin cells.
Anti-inflammatory properties have also been highlighted.
The antimicrobial activity of this rosemary extract has also been tested on 28 germs (staphylococci, streptococci, corynebacterium, pseudomonas, etc.) as well as on Bacillus subtilis, Micrococcus luteus, Propionibacterium acnes, and Candida. The best efficacy was observed on staphylococci, streptococci, micrococci, and bacilli.

Very good product, gentle
Alright
A beautiful, concentrated, and clean extract with a deep and authentic rosemary scent. Just a few drops are enough to enrich a preparation—the texture blends well with vegetable oils. I've only just started using it, but the quality seems excellent, and the dropper bottle is convenient. Ideal for revitalizing treatments or for boosting the oxidative stability of balms.
Everything OK
