The Organic Liquid Caramel coloring dissolves easily in water-based products (gels, creams, foaming products, lotions, etc.) and can be used in dispersion in semi-solid oil-based products (balms).
Shower gels, gels, and lotions : dissolve the liquid caramel colorant in the product at the end of preparation
Emulsions (creams, milks) : dissolve the liquid caramel colorant in the product at the end of preparation.
Semi-solid oily mixtures (balms, butters) : disperse the liquid caramel coloring in the melted oily phase outside the double boiler, when the product begins to cool, stirring regularly while the balm sets.
Resulting colors
Caramel can be used to create:
Light to dark beige tones: on its own by varying the dosage and/or adding titanium dioxide if necessary
Dark brown and warm brown tones: mixed with chestnut powder
Cool browns: mixed with a little indigo
Pinkish beige to pinkish brown tones: mixed with pink ochre
In aqueous liquid or gel formulas:
Plant-based colorants: chlorophyll, beet juice, grape powder, indigo powder, chestnut powder
In creamy, paste-like or semi-solid formulas (emulsions, balms, sticks):
Matte mineral pigments: brown oxide, red oxide, yellow oxide, blue oxide, green oxide, pink oxide, black oxide
Satin mineral pigments: silver mica, gold mica, bronze mica, copper mica, deep blue mica, ocean green mica
Shiny mineral pigments: sparkling hazelnut mica, shiny mica with intense glitter effect

Presentation
A viscous, dark brown liquid, packaged in amber glass bottles without a dropper.

Neutral cleansing base: 100 ml
Caramel powder: 1g
Method: Add the caramel powder to the neutral cleansing base and mix gently until the color is even.
Shea butter: 40 g (approximately 40 ml)
Beeswax: 3 g
Sweet almond oil: 2.5 g (approx. 2.5 ml)
Coconut oil: 2.5 g (approx. 2.5 ml)
50% caramel powder + 50% water solution: 1 g (1 ml)
Caramel flavoring: 1 g (35 drops)
Method: Melt the shea butter with the wax and oils, stirring continuously. Remove from the heat and leave to cool. When the mixture becomes opaque, add the caramel solution and the flavoring. Mix well and leave to cool completely.
Shea butter: 7 g (approx. 7 ml)
Beeswax: 1 g
Coconut oil: 3 g (approx. 3 ml)
Caramel powder: 0.2 g (1 large pinch)
Caramel flavoring: 4 drops
Method: Melt the shea butter with the wax and oil. Mix well. Wait for the mixture to cool, then add the caramel and flavoring, stirring well. Leave to cool completely.
26 g (or ml) Italian Helichrysum floral water
17 g of apricot kernel vegetable oil
5 g mimosa wax
1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin
1 large pinch of organic caramel powder (depending on the desired intensity)
1 pinch of shiny mica
10 drops organic caramel aromatic extract
3 drops of plant-based vitamin E
10 drops of grapefruit seed extract
Method: 1- After weighing all the ingredients, place the vegetable oil and wax in a bowl or mortar and heat gently in a double boiler.
2- Remove from the heat as soon as the wax has melted.
3- Gradually stir in the aromatic hydrosol in small amounts, using a figure-eight motion at the bottom of the bowl, then add the glycerin while continuing to mix.
4- Next, add the caramel powder, then the mica, the aromatic extract, and finally the vitamin E and grapefruit seed extract.
