Method of obtaining

Low-temperature maceration of the plant in a mixture of organic glycerin, water, and organic alcohol (5-10%).

Most of the active ingredients contained in Edelweiss flowers are soluble in water. Therefore, by macerating them in a mixture of water, glycerin, and alcohol, the active ingredients in the flowers easily dissolve into the extraction liquid. After filtration, a mixture of water, glycerin, and alcohol loaded with the plant's active ingredients is obtained.

• Chlorogenic acid: powerful antioxidant

• Luteolin-4'-o-glucoside and Apigenin-7-glucoside: softening, they have anti-inflammatory properties

• Luteolin: helps maintain skin elasticity and tone by inhibiting the breakdown of hyaluronic acid, one of the main components of the skin.

• Tannins: by trapping free radicals, they have antioxidant properties. They also limit the oxidation of skin lipids, thus protecting against premature ageing.

• Beta-sitosterols: anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial activity
