Storage

Essential oils are sensitive to UV radiation and to the gradual evaporation of their volatile constituents. It is therefore essential to store your essential oils in a dark glass or aluminium bottle with a tightly fitting cap, at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C (41°F and 104°F).

Precautions

• Not recommended during the first three months of pregnancy.

• No internal use.

• Always dilute for topical application.

• Keep out of reach of children.

• Some natural compounds in this essential oil can cause an allergic reaction in certain sensitive individuals when incorporated into a cosmetic formulation (according to the 7th Amendment of the European Directive on Cosmetic Products (2003/15/EC)): limonene, and to a lesser extent, linalool.

• As a general rule, always perform a patch test of your mixture in the crook of your elbow at least 48 hours before use.

• Dangerous. Follow safety precautions.

• Liquid and vapours are flammable. May cause skin allergy. Causes skin irritation (risk associated with the product in its pure form). May be fatal if ingested or if it enters the respiratory tract (if accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting). Extremely toxic to aquatic life, causing long-term effects (large-scale spillages into waterways).
