Aroma-Zone Tip

• To achieve a gloss with a more fluid and less sticky texture, simply increase the proportion of your added oil mixture; you can add up to 50% to the Gloss Base, mixing well.

• For better pigment dispersion, you can pre-disperse the pigments in your oil phase and then incorporate this mixture into the Gloss Base.

• Incorporate the Gloss Base into your emulsions and balms to enhance the emollient and protective properties of these products. Add the Gloss Base (1–10%) to the melted oil phase while hot, before the emulsion forms.

• Incorporate 5 to 10% Base Gloss into your compact powder formulations (eyeshadows, blush) to improve the powders’ adherence to the skin, make your powders more water-resistant, intensify colors, and add a slightly dewy and shiny effect to your makeup.
