Use as an ingredient in your homemade mineral makeup products:

Blue oxide can be incorporated into the following ready-made AZ neutral bases:

• Cleansing cream base at a maximum dosage of 1.0%

• Melt & Pour bases at a maximum dosage of 1.0%

• Makeup powder base at a maximum dosage of 30.0%

• Melt & Pour Stick Base at a maximum dosage of 30.0%

This oxide can be used dispersed in a powder mixture or suspended in creams, milks, soaps, balms and sticks.

• Powder blends: Add the oxide to your powder base. Grinding with a mortar or coffee grinder is recommended to achieve uniform shades; using coated talc can significantly reduce grinding time.

• Emulsions: Incorporate directly into the oil phase (dispersing paste for coloured emulsions).

• Oily and wax-based preparations (balms, oils, lipsticks): Incorporate at the end of preparation.

• Gels: Incorporation at the end of preparation.

Blue oxide can be used to create the following shades:

• A gradient of blues

• Mauve and purple tones when mixed with pink oxide

• A gradient of greens, blue-greens, and dark yellows when mixed with yellow oxide

• A gradient of purple and plum tones mixed with red oxide

Method of production

Blue oxide is a mixture of the following three components:

• Ultramarine

• Silica obtained by precipitation from the ore, filtration, drying, and then grinding

• Kaolin

It is obtained by mixing, grinding, heat treatment, and filtration.

Presentation

Ultra-fine powder (5 microns, not considered a nanoparticle product) with a very intense blue color, packaged in a small transparent jar.

Storage

Store away from moisture at room temperature.

Precautions

• Wearing gloves, goggles, a dust mask, and a smock is strongly recommended.

• Keep out of reach of children, do not swallow, do not inhale the powder.

• Blue oxide is unstable in highly acidic environments. Do not use in highly acidic aqueous formulas (pH < 4.5) or in citric acid-based effervescent bath product formulas (bath bombs). Never mix it with strong acids or household products. Incompatible with AHA fruit acids if pH < 4.5</p></li></ul><p></p>
