Skin ageing is mainly marked by a progressive loss of skin elasticity, due to a reduction in the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, because as we age, stem cells are less active and the production of these molecules is greatly reduced. Studies have shown that Age-defying Algo'boost acts directly on our skin's stem cells and fibroblasts (the cells that synthesise collagen).
Properties
As a cosmetic ingredient, Age-defying Algo'boost is recognised for the following properties:
Helps restore the ability of dermal stem cells to divide, thereby boosting their action. Helps dermal stem cells regain their optimal vitality. Stimulates fibroblast activity.
Boosts collagen synthesis.
Reduces wrinkles: in-vivo studies (carried out on a panel of volunteers) have shown that Age-defying Algo'boost tightens the skin, helps fill in wrinkles and gives mature skin a smoother appearance. After 28 days of twice-daily use of Age-defying Algo'boost 2%, 80% of volunteers observed a significant reduction in the main wrinkles, particularly crow's feet.

Add it to a neutral Aroma-Zone base
Age-defying Algo'boost can be incorporated into a ready-to-use AZ neutral base to make:
An emulsion: with ORGANIC neutral plant-based lotion, ORGANIC Youth Neutral cream and Moisturising cream.
An aqueous gel: with ORGANIC Aloe Vera Gel
A foaming product: with ORGANIC Neutral Cleansing Base and ORGANIC Neutral Cleansing Cream
A mask: with Peel-off Mask
Incorporate Age-defying Algo'boost into one of the AZ neutral bases listed above to make an emulsion, an aqueous gel or a foaming product.
Step 1
Pour your product into a cosmetic preparation bowl or other suitable container.
Step 2
Add the desired quantity of Youthful Algo'boost (see equivalence table below and within the limit of the maximum percentage of 5% for incorporating into AZ's Neutral Base).
Step 3
Shake to mix well.
Step 4
Pour the product into its container, using a pipette if necessary.
