Guide to essential oils

Essential oil of Fragonia

Purifying, Fragonia essential oil is known for purifying blemished and problem skin. It is particularly famous in energetic aromatherapy, where it embodies the feminine principle par excellence, alongside Kunzea essential oil, which is associated with the masculine principle. Together, these essential oils represent the 'aromatic Tao', the Yin and Yang of Chinese cosmology, distinct and opposing entities that complement each other to form a whole. In energetic olfactotherapy, it accompanies people in their quest for reconciliation, with themselves and with others, and for inner peace.

Find out more

Fragonia is a plant from the Australian continent. A member of the Myrtaceae family, its leafy branches are distilled to produce a very precious essential oil.

In terms of its composition, this essential oil is rich in 1.8-cineole, αlpha-pinene and linalool. As a result of this composition, it is just as well-known as Tea Tree essential oil for its help against bacterial infections. But it has the advantage over its cousin of having a much finer, flowery and pleasant scent.

Fragonia essential oil is traditionally thought to harmonise the immune system, making it a valuable ally in treating ENT infections. Its composition is also rich in anti-inflammatory and soothing active ingredients, making it an essential ingredient in your oily preparations for joint and muscle massages.

But talking about Fragonia without mentioning its energetic aspect would be very simplistic. In fact, behind all its properties, Fragonia essential oil hides a powerful energetic potential.

Fragonia is the archetype of the feminine principle. It is the essential oil of reconciliation, inner peace and peace with others. Able to promote introspection, Fragonia essential oil frees negative energies and leads to inner well-being and the release of anxieties, allowing access to one's true, deepest "self".

This oil became my new favourite.

I
Ivelina

A very pleasant, sweet scent. Quite effective on acne breakouts, but not spectacular results (I have acne as a side effect of a treatment, so I'm a novice when it comes to acne). Roman chamomile essential oil gave better results for me because it's fungal acne.

N
Nawel

Excellent oil for relieving stress.

Inès

a precious oil that cannot be missing from my kit

My favorite "perfume" essential oil of all, and I know quite a few, cistus and geranium included, to me smells like a great perfume, flowery and fresh. Would be good to have the GC-MS analysis on this one also.
