AJOWAN : a strong antiseptic and tonic
Properties :
As lavender, thyme is a very potent oil. Strong antiseptic, thyme oil will be an effective treatment for coughs, colds and sore throats. Use it as a disinfectant spray.

Properties :

CLARY SAGE
Properties
: Clary Sage is a very powerful sedative, uplifting and comforting and is used to help relax in times of stress and nervous times of stress and nervous tension.
It should be used in moderation of its powerful properties.
It is also commonly used for skin care, especially for acne, boils, inflammation and oily skin.
This oil is well-known for its properties on hair ; it can be used in the treatment of dandruff and encourages hair growth.

 HYSSOP
Properties :
Therapeutically, Hyssop has several applications, but it has also a certain amount of toxicity, so it should be used with care.
Hyssop oil is sedative in effect and can be used to treat anxiety, nervous tension and stress.
Hyssop is particularly beneficial in the treatment of respiratory ailments.
It is antiseptic, antiviral and bactericidal, and will help combat colds, influenza, bronchitis, asthma and sore throats.
Expectorant, it is used to liquefy mucous and clear the lungs and bronchial tubes.
It is also used to regulate high or low pressure.
Warning : Not used during pregnancy. Use in strict moderation. Not to be used by epileptics.

LAUREL
Properties :
Laurel is known for its strong effects on the nervous system.
Its stimulating and warming properties are used to produce fire and warmth in one's emotions, bringing awareness, courage and confidence.
Coupled with its sedative properties, it is used for neuritis, depression, anxiety and psychosis.
Laurel's antiseptic, expectorant and bactericidal properties are used with sinus infection, bronchitis and asthma.
Its analgesic and anti-rheumatic properties are useful with muscular aches and pains, arthritis and rheumatism.

MARJORAM SYLVESTRIS
Properties :
This oil is widely used in massage and diffusion during the cold season.  A
ntiseptic, and is very used for treating infectious of the respiratory system : coughs, colds, sinusitis, bronchitis and pneumonia.

MYRTLE
Properties :
Antiseptic, astringent, bactericide and expectorant, Myrtle is particularly useful with pulmonary disorders.
It combats excessive moisture, bronchial catarrh and sinusitis.
Myrtle could also be useful in treatment of acne as well as clearing blemishes and bruises.

OREGANO  
Properties :
Wild Marjoram or Oregano has a very ancient medical reputation. Its properties are stimulant, carminative and diaphoretic.
Its main effect seems to be on the digestive system, soothing the stomach, calming intestinal spasms, combating stomach gas and encouraging appetite.
Its warming and pain relieving action may be beneficial to period cramps, rheumatism and muscular pains.
A very potent oil that could irritate the mucous membranes.

PARSLEY 
Properties :
Very strong diuretic, Parsley stimulates the kidneys and could effectively clear cystitis and urinary stones.
It could also well promote flow of breast milk and seems to relieve hardening of the breasts.
While having a calming action on the digestion it also stimulates the appetite and is useful with flatulence.
A very potent oil : care is needed with dosage. Should not be used during pregnancy nor painful menstruation.

THYME VULGARIS 
Properties :
The ancient Egyptians incorporated the essential oil of Thyme into their embalming fluids.
Thyme helps with fatigue and anxiety but is best known as a natural antiseptic for treating coughs and infections of the respiratory tract.
Thyme is also good for rheumatic aches and for skin problems.
Thyme should be diluted for skin application.
